Quincy, IL - August 6, 2025 - United Way of Adams County will officially begin the 2025 “Thanks to You It’s Working” Campaign on Wednesday, August 6 at the Quincy Boat Club, located at 401 Bonansinga Drive in Quincy.


The Kickoff will unite United Way of Adams County partners, board members, sponsors, donors, and volunteers to unveil exciting plans for the year ahead. Join us as we celebrate the successes made possible by your generosity and look forward to the work still to come.

Campaign leadership for 2025 is in the capable hands of Brian Durante, Will Spear, and Theresa Spear of Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, whose commitment to our community is both inspiring and unwavering. The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:00 p.m., followed by a presentation at 6:00 p.m., highlighting our vision for the year and the difference your support is making. The theme “Thanks to You It’s Working” celebrates the power of community collaboration and the tangible change it creates.

The generosity of the Adams County community continues to provide vital support 26 programs offered by 17 United Way of Adams County community partners, including: Advocacy Network for Children, American Red Cross, Bella Ease, Scouting America Mississippi Valley Council, Cheerful Home, Community for Christ, Cornerstone, Girl Scouts of Central Illinois, Horizons Social Services, Quincy Catholic Charities, Quanada, Quincy Family YMCA, Salvation Army, Transitions, YoungLife, JWCC and YWCA.
