Our Community Partnerships
At United Way of Adams County, our mission is to inspire, unite, and empower the people of our community to reach their full human potential. We work alongside dedicated partners who share our commitment to improving lives and strengthening our community. Together, we focus on addressing the most pressing issues in our area, such as Behavioral Health, Community Stability (with a focus on ALICE—Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed individuals), and Housing.
Our efforts are guided by the four United Way focus pillars:
• Healthy Community to Promote Well-Being
• Youth Opportunity for Successful Futures
• Financial Security to Support Economic Stability
• Community Resiliency to Build Strong, Adaptable Communities
By investing in programs that target these critical areas, we ensure a focus on meaningful, measurable impact. Our community-focused approach ensures that every effort drives lasting change.
Thanks to the generosity of thousands of individuals, businesses and foundations who pledge support during our annual campaign, United Way invests over $650,000 annually in direct and partner programs that benefit the residents of Adams County. A 35-member volunteer panel rigorously evaluates each program to ensure accountability, transparency, and measurable outcomes.
Together, with our community partners, (listed below)
we are building a brighter, stronger future for Adams County
