QUINCY, IL - February 2, 2026 - United Way of Adams County is excited to announce Maddie Weed as the organization’s new Director of Development. Maddie brings creativity, energy, and a strong background in marketing, social media, and entrepreneurship.
In her new role, Maddie will lead fundraising and development initiatives, build relationships with donors and community partners, and support programs that strengthen and improve the lives of families across Adams County. “I’m thrilled to join United Way of Adams County and get started helping bring its mission to life, ” Maddie said. “I look forward to working with our comunity partners, donors, and volunteers to make a meaningful impact right here in our community.”
A 2022 graduate of Culver-Stockton College with a degree in International Business and Marketing, Maddie got her start in marketing as an intern at Broadcast Electronics in 2021. After graduation, she stepped into a full-time role as Marketing Coordinator and has spent the past three years gaining hands-on experience across corporate marketing, social media, restaurant marketing, and small business entrepreneurship. She continues to engage with the community through her work as a server at The Patio Restaurant.
